With traffic counts of 20-80k cars a day electronic variable message centers are computerized programmable electronic visual communications devices capable of storing and displaying multiple messages in dozens of formats and at varying intervals. Similar to an old-fashioned reader-board, they allow their owners to change copy frequently, but without the cost of replacing missing or broken letters and without the physical labor involved with changing copy. When deciding to use LEDsignage in or on your your business premises, choose a manufacturer or LEDsign dealer that is specificaly knowledgeable and trained in the LEDsign business, and then ask them for a trained installer. Allowing a electric sign company that is not a trained as a LEDsign factory dealer to choose your LED display is not always the best way to go, he maybe trying to sell you the one he can make the most profit on!! He is most properly not trained or hardly knowledgeable of what you are looking for in a LEDsign, so check he is an authorized LED sign factory dealer. You must also ask to see the operating software and make sure you are going to be able to program it.
Caution!! Remember LED factories offer long parts warranties and they do not cover labor, so you need a labor warranty, or if its possible have somebody show you how to maintain their equipment themselves, of course not always possible when the sign is half way up to the moon!!

There is nothing worse than buying a sign and installing it to find that it keeps on going wrong & you keep paying to fix it. If it's up high, the cost for cranes are very expensive. You were told by the saleman LEDS lasted 10 years. The salesman tells you they rarely break and that you are just unlucky! That's not what he told you when you purchased it. Or you buy it & have it installed & you can't see anything when you stand to the side & that's where the traffic is, so you wasted your money! (bad angle of vision means they sold you the cheap LEDS, or did he not inform you of its angle.). Or the software is so hard to use that you just manage to get some words out & you hate programming it because the software is so bad. Or it uses a simple keypad that takes so long to punch & peck that you nearly get mugged outside the store for 3 hours. What happened to the amazing graphics you were shown & the ease in programming you were promised. Choose your investment carefully!!
